15+ Easiest Things to Flip for Profit
Flipping! It means you buy something at low price and sell it a high price, keeping the difference as your profit! I have been flipping for profit for years and years. Last year in 2017, I made over $30K flipping things and this year, halfway through 2018, I’ve already made over $80K with flipping! There are many ways to earn a profit from home: running an online store, taking surveys, starting a side biz, etc. Flipping is very rewarding and super lucrative. Keep reading to learn about 15+ easiest things to flip for profit, right around the house! Here we go…
Things to Flip for Profit
First, where do you find things to flip? There are some real goldmines right around your house but if you wanna amp up your income, consider hitting up these gems to find things to flip for profit:
- Flea markets
- Discount stores (like the dollar store, Walmart, etc.)
- Thrift stores
- Consignment stores
- Online marketplaces (like eBay or Amazon)
- Garage sales
- Rummage sales
- Liquidation stores
- Clearance stores (like Ross Dress for Less, etc.)
You are looking for products at a discount that you can mark up and earn a profit on. Over time, you’ll start to get a “good eye” for diamonds in the rough and know what products are good or great to flip.
Browse through stores and when you think you find a winner, get on your cell phone and do a quick search to see the retail price. If there is a nice gap in your store price compared to online retail price, you’ve found a winner! You can do the same thing around the house. Go through your household goods and belongings, and search those items online to see if you can profit. Easy!
Now, onto the list…
Clothes are great for flipping. Think vintage items like t-shirts, dresses, even accessories like eyeglasses, sunglasses, etc. Designer items are also great and fit in this category.
Vintage shoes or boots are great for resale at a nice profit. New and/or used shoes as well as designer labels shoes and boots.
3.) Car parts
Auto parts are often forgotten but you can fetch a pretty penny for these. Try to sell in marketplaces like eBay where you can earn not only a nice profit, but a quick sale.
Like old ipods or MP3 players and don’t let damage hold you back. Scuffed or cracked products can also sell well believe it or not.
5.) Anything vintage
6.) Old games
7.) Anything denim
Stuffed animals, toy cars, any electronic toys can be resold at a nice profit, depending on the item. Search out these items and cross check online to measure profitability. These do especially well because of nostalgia associated with old toys from childhood. People are willing to pay a high price to capture that feeling again.
10.) Cassette tapes
11.) VHS tapes
12.) Embroidery or knit items
Like sweaters, knits, gloves, etc. Do you have old hand me downs? Some inherited items from grandma? Look at selling in consignment stores for this category.
13.) Sports gear
Think about camping, hiking, sports like tennis, baseball, polo, etc. This equipment is valuable and can be flipped. Go through your sports stuff to see what you can find.
14.) Gaming systems
There IS money in your gaming system. Playstations, Xbox, etc.
Your bowls, plates, and platters are worth money. Yes, the older ones. Take great pictures and look at selling these online.
This is your knife, fork, spoon sets. Vintage heaven. The older flatware sets are so gorgeous, intricately designed and worth a lot. There are collectors and there are lovers of old flatware. Look into this.
